Who we are
A small Country House only a few kilometres from the coast, amidst the sloping hills of the Ascoli Piceno Province in the Marche. Alberto and Giusy, the owners, offer accommodation in two rooms in the dépendence, each one separate and completely private.
The Surroundings
The Park
Casa di Giusy and its swimming-pool lie in the middle of a large park completely fenced off and surrounded by trees and flowers.
The Panorama
From the main portico you can enjoy the view of the Adriatic coast, the Maiella mountains, the Gran Sasso, The Ascensione Mountains, the Sibillini and the Apennines of the Abruzzo and Marche regions.
The beaches
The closest beach resorts are only a few minutes away by car. Grottammare named the “Pearl of the Adriatic Coast” and San Benedetto del Tronto with its many palm trees.
Day-trips and excursions
The country house lies in a position that is ideal for horse-riding and mountain bike lovers. Easy day trips to the Sibillini mountains and to the Gran Sasso Mountain range.
Vineyards and Olive groves
The olives cultivated on our own grounds produce a high quality olive oil, used in all our dishes and is available for sale. The vineyards produce both red and white D.O.C. quality wines under the names of Rosso Piceno D.O.C. and Bianco Falerio dei Colli Ascolani D.O.C. served at table in the restaurant and available for sale.
Aloe Vera and walnut trees
La casa di Giusy also has a large production of Aloe Vera plants which are used for a wide range of cosmetical purposes and natural therapies. The plants are available for sale at the Country House. Furthermore the grounds of the Country House are surrounded by walnut plantations destined to the production of walnut wood. If interested in purchase you are welcome to contact us.
